Press Release: Local Historian Appointed to Smithsonian Board

Washington based public historian Susan Ferentinos, PhD, has been appointed to the National Museum of American History Board, where she will advise museum leadership on programs and strategic initiatives. Her appointment comes as the nation approaches its 250th anniversary, a pivotal moment for reflecting on and preserving the full American story.
