Mark your calendars! I am currently working on a statewide historic context study of LGBTQ history in Maryland, in partnership with Preservation Maryland. As part of this effort, Preservation Maryland is hosting a series of listening sessions in different towns in June 2019, so that we can hear from local communities about potential LGBTQ sites for inclusion in the study and hear more about the sites we’ve already identified.
All these events are free and open to the public, and we are hoping to hear from a wide range of experiences of LGBTQ life in Maryland. As part of each event, I’ll also give a short presentation on our findings to date. Here’s where we’ll be when:
